Why Storytelling?

I wear many hats: journalist, communications specialist, entrepreneur, public speaker and, for one unforgettable year, Miss Anguilla.

Born in a rural village in the Commonwealth of Dominica and raised in Anguilla, I learned the value of resilience, hard work, and community from an early age.

My greatest inspiration has always been my mother. As a single parent, she relocated our family to Anguilla in search of greater opportunities. Over the years, I watched her work tirelessly to build a better future for us, progressing from being a cleaner to securing her High School Diploma, to becoming the manager of a dialysis unit, helping to save lives every day.

Her determination taught me that where you start does not define where you can go.

My love of communication began long before I entered a newsroom. It started in church, where I found my voice, and later developed through debating competitions, where I connected with students like myself who were curious about the world. Read More

That passion eventually led me into journalism.

My career began at a small radio station in Anguilla, a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean. In 2017, our island was devastated by Hurricane Irma, one of the strongest hurricanes ever recorded in the Atlantic. As a young reporter, I found myself documenting the storm and its aftermath, with some of my reports gaining international attention.

The experience reinforced something I have carried with me ever since: stories matter.

Nearly a decade later, that belief has taken me from a local radio studio in the Caribbean to producing content for the BBC in London, speaking at the House of Lords, hosting events at venues such as The Dorchester, and helping organisations communicate with clarity, purpose and impact. Less

My Approach

Human First.

The best communication starts with understanding people. Before crafting a message, we need to understand who we're speaking to and what matters to them.
What are you hoping to achieve?

Story Led.

Facts inform. Stories move people. Together, we'll find the narrative that captures attention, builds trust, and inspires action.
How can we get people to listen?

Results Focused.

Great communication isn't just about being heard - it's about creating meaningful change. Every message should have a purpose, and every story should drive an outcome.
